Justin and Elly Heckel offer over 15 years of ministry experience in worship and team building across churches, prayer houses, non-profits, and revival events throughout the Midwest.
Heckel Ministries’ vision is to ignite hearts with the love of God and empower individuals to recognize and worship His presence in every moment of life. Whether in moments of grand celebration or the quiet rhythms of daily living, Justin and Elly believe in celebrating the goodness of God.
Their family is not just a part of their lives; it is the foundation of their ministry. With three energetic boys, Zalen, Liam, and Judah, and their playful puppy Daisy, worship is truly a family affair. The Heckel's are committed to creating a worshipful environment for their children, nurturing their spiritual growth, and embodying family values within their church community.
For the past three years, the Heckel's have poured their hearts into serving the homeless community at Union Gospel Mission in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Justin serves as one of the Men’s Center Directors, where he provides leadership development and guidance. Elly works with the Volunteers of America, Dakotas GreaterGoods program, offering essential support to over 330 churches, non-profits, and schools across the region. In addition to their mission work, Justin is a published author, known for his book "Spiritual Warrior: Revelations of God Through Fighting." He also uses his background in Martial Arts and Weightlifting to mentor and inspire local youth and young adults. Elly, a Digital Marketing and Brand Specialist, amplifies messages of love and faith through her expertise.

Spiritual Warrior
The Spiritual Warrior is a tool to be used on whatever level the fighter needs. It reveals the link between truth in the natural realm in which we live and the spiritual realm in which we transcend. The Spiritual Warrior is a devotional for fighters to get to know God in their everyday lives. It is a resource to be able to reach people in the fight world and to awaken them to the deeper truths behind warfare and martial arts.
Often, participants in these events get known for being brutes, but they have skills and God given attributes far beyond the physical that can be proven to be gifts to serve God and our society.
Just as David, Israel's greatest warrior, king, and the one whom God called, "a man after His own heart" used the strength that God gave him so can you when you awaken the warrior spirit that is within us all.
Learn to appreciate the gifts of the natural warriors and let God reveal Himself through the life He has placed you in as well as use your natural gifts to influence others for the better.
May God awaken the warrior spirit within you, for if we join in His sufferings we will surely share in His joys.
